WordPress Plug-In That Helps You Write What Your Readers Want

by Kimberly Yow on June 30, 2010

A great WordPress plug-in that will help you write what your blog readers want to read is…Search Meter.  I’ve had it installed on my WordPress blogs for months and it has helped me find writing inspiration many times!

Search Meter will give you statistics on keyword terms that people are searching for ON your blog.  You can look at terms that were searched on yesterday and today, in the last 7 days and in the last 30 days.  You can also see which searches were performed on your blog that did not return any results.  This is what the plug-in says about their “Unsuccessful Search Summary” section:

“These tables show only the search terms for which the last search yielded no results. People are searching your blog for these terms; maybe you should give them what they want.”

I keep an eye on the statistics in Search Meter and will write about a topic that I see multiple people have searched for info on.  Sometimes I also use the info purely for blog writing inspiration.

Check out the Search Meter WordPress Plug-In today and make giving your readers what they want a little easier.
