For some strange reason it seems that search engine optimization for social media (a.k.a. social media optimization) isn’t written about much. However, I just read a great article titled “5 Keys to Integrating Search and Social Media“. The article talks about not only the importance of social media but how it affects your branded search engine rankings and online visibility.
The article mentions that you need to choose your keywords wisely and add keywords to your website. You ALSO need to add appropriate keywords to your blog posts, your social media profiles and status updates, your tags on uploaded videos, etc…
