New Facebook Privacy Control for Status Updates

by Kimberly Yow on June 24, 2009

Facebook just announced that they have a new Privacy Control feature in Beta testing.  This new feature allows you to control who can view each and every post that you make in the What’s On Your Mind? status update box.  As you’ll see below, you initially have 4 choices but if you choose Custom you will then be able to make additional choices.

Not everyone is seeing this new feature right now (because it’s in beta) but this is what it looks like:

I’m part of the beta testing group so I’ll be taking this new feature for a spin!

See you on Facebook,
